Condor Women's Cross Country Finish 12th in State; Men Individually 16th, 22nd, 27th

In the Women's race, the Lady Condors finished in a solid 12th place with almost every team member breaking their personal best for the 5K distance to d Angelica Alcala leading the way finished in 19th place with a time of 19:25.  Melody Salazar placed 73rd with a time of 20:37.  Araceli Rodriguez finished closed behind in 78th place with a time of 20:44.  Kimberly Acosta finished in 97th with a time of 21:09 and just less than a second behind was Esther Gomez in 101st place with a time of 21:10 to round out the team score.  Fiona Rodriguez finished in 144th place with a time of 22:24.  Jasmine Rangel returned to fill in the 7th spot for the state squad to finish in 151st with a time of 22:45.

In the Men's race, Eric Rios led the Condors once again to finish his season strong in 16th place with a time of 21:05 for the 4 mile course.  Ricky Torres bounced back slightly to finish in 22nd place with a time of 21:17.  JD Martinez struggling and nursing a sprained ankle throughout the entire week was still able to make his appearance and complete his sophomore season in 27th place with a time of 21:21.

The Condors look to build on terrific finishes as they return the majority of the women's team for 2020.
