Despite the solid effort by the Condors, OC fell 89-62 to the SBCC Vaqueros in the second half of the WSC DH on Wednesday night.  Hoping to spoil SBCC's bid to claim Heach Coach Sandrine Krul's 300th win, Oxnard was turned away on the scoresheet and back boards.  

The Vaqs outrebounded OC 41-21 and hit 49% from the field.

Oxnard was again led by Gizelle Carreto with 14 and four rebounds.  Faith Stockton had 12 points and Andrea Berrelleza played very well off of the bench with 11 points of her own.

OC will host "Condor Appreciation Night" on Saturday against VC.  All OC Staff, Faculty, and Students will get in for free.  Additionally, the first 25 Condors who wear OC apparel will be give a door prize.  Hamburgers and hot dogs will also be served, weather permitting.  The men tipoff at 1:00 and the women at 3:00.
