The Condor Softball squad sits atop the WSC North, with only one game in WSC play. Their overall record is a stellar 6-4-1, winners of three straight ballgames after a DH win over San Bernardino Valley College on Saturday.
Oxnard claimed a convincing 9-1 win in game one, with Miranda Guerrero going the distance in both games.
Destiny Murillo remains red hot at the plate going 3-4 with two doubles and a triple, and had 3 RBI's. Charlie Holman was 2 for 3 with a double and 3 runs scored. Giselle Roldan was 2 for 4 and Micaela Barrera-Herron was 2-4 with 2 RBI's.
In game two, Oxnard had to come from behind to win 8-5, scoring four runs in the fourth and three in the fifth. They pounded out 15 hits, with Katlyn Acosta getting three, with two doubles, Hollman going a perfect 3-3, and Murillo going 3-4, with another 3b.
The Condors are batting .374 good enough for 8th in the state and a .543 slugging percentage, which ranks them 5th in the CCCAA.
The Lady Condors face a tough Bakersfield squad on Tuesday night, in Bakersfield at 5:30, with a big cross-county matchup vs. Moorpark College on Thursday at 2:30, in The Nest.
