The Condors Nest saw an incredible 2-1 win by the OC Condors on Saturday afternoon.

Playing at home for the first time in the CCCAA Regional Round 4 matchup against #3 Fullerton College, Oxnard needed everything from their talented group.

The first half was controlled by Oxnard with Pedro Santos-Jimenez scoring his third goal in as many playoff games to put OC up 1-0, at the 20:00 minute mark.

In the second half, Fullerton turned up the pressure, and that is when OC Goalkeeper, Efrain Perez (https://www.instagram.com/p/Clcc7vuAB4E/?hl=en), went to work.  Wave after wave of Fullerton attacks were thwarted by Perez.  Finally, in the 68th minute, Joseph Espinoza of FC put a shot past the diving Perez to equalize. With the Fullerton side going bananas, Oxnard was able to regain composure.

The defense, led by Enrique Tiscareno held off Fullerton, to start a counter attack.  Odin Rosten took a pass and led Oxnard down the field, with only 84:00 showing on the clock.  Rosten was able to give a great crossing pass to Noe Eulloqui, who tucked a shot in the corner of the goal to give OC the 2-1 lead.

That goal would propel the Condors to the win and a berth in the State Final Four, next week.  The semifinal will be held on Friday, December 2nd at American River College.  The winner will play for the state title on Sunday, December 4th.
