The Oxnard College Baseball team honored its sophomore class during a heartfelt pregame ceremony at The Nest, marking the end of a season defined not by wins and losses, but by growth, perseverance, and brotherhood.

Despite the frustrations of a challenging season, the Condors stayed united and committed. The bond among teammates and the lessons learned will carry forward as seven sophomores prepare to take their next steps.

Bryson Tsukayama-Daniel, a Business Management major headed to Cal Poly Pomona, hopes to become a construction manager and entrepreneur. He'll never forget his grand slam against Santa Ana.

Jorge Rodarte, studying Mechanical Engineering and also transferring to Cal Poly Pomona, recalled hitting a towering home run off the scoreboard early in the season as his favorite moment.

Brendan McBride, who plans to attend Fresno State to pursue a career in accounting and coaching, cherished the deep bond he formed with teammates.

Shu Sugita, a Business major still weighing transfer options, dreams of making it to the MLB and said his favorite memory was simply playing for Coach T-Mac.

Reon Iwase, also a Business major, aims to play professionally and coach in the future. He fondly remembered last season's big win over Santa Barbara.

Roman Munoz, who will attend Fresno State, is considering careers in accounting or law enforcement. He cited this year's six-game win streak as a season highlight.

Finally, Eric Rodriguez, a Fire Technology major transferring to Bethesda University, plans to become a firefighter and fondly recalled the team's Halloween costume game.

Though the season tested them, these sophomores showed what it means to fight together, stay positive, and leave a legacy built on grit and gratitude.
