
Santa Maria, CA – The Oxnard College Condors extended their winning streak to five games with a dominant 4-0 shutout victory over Allan Hancock on Saturday. The Condors showcased stellar pitching, timely hitting, and sound defense to secure another statement win.
Oxnard wasted no time taking control, plating three runs in the first inning. Luis Cervantez led off with a single and later scored on an RBI walk by Isaiah Justo. Bryson Tsukayama-Daniel followed with another bases-loaded walk, bringing in Jonas Ballesteros. The early scoring spree continued as Jorge Rodarte crossed home plate on a wild pitch, giving the Condors an early 3-0 advantage.
The only other run of the game came in the fourth inning when Kekai Adams roped a double to left field, scoring Shu Sugita and extending the lead to 4-0.
On the mound, Ahmed Mohamed was sensational, tossing six shutout innings while allowing just three hits and striking out seven. Brendan McBride and Roman Munoz combined to preserve the shutout over the final three frames, ensuring that the Bulldogs never found a rhythm offensively.
Despite tallying eight hits, Allan Hancock was unable to capitalize with runners on base, stranding 14 over the course of the game. Oxnard's defense remained flawless, turning multiple key double plays and keeping the Bulldogs off the scoreboard. OC has used blend of strong pitching, clutch hitting, and aggressive baserunning to reverse their fortunes.
The Condors will look to extend their winning streak when they return to action next week against LA Pierce College, in the Nest at 2:00 pm.
