Oxnard claimed a 5-2 win at home on Tuesday afternoon over WSC rival Santa Barbara City College.  

Lucien Wechsberg went seven innings, allowing only one earned run, four hits, while striking out seven Vaqueros.

Erick Martinez was 2 for 3 at the plate, as was Anthony Alvarez.  The Condors were efficient at the plate by scoring five runs on only six hits.

OC never trailed in the game, going up 1-0 in the first, and pulled away for a run in the fifth and two in the sixth.

Damon Villa pitched well in relief to earn the save, going two inning of one-hit baseball.

Oxnard will travel to Ventura College on Thursday and finish the week on the road at Allan Hancock College on Saturday.
