After a rough start to the season, the Condor Baseball team won their second game in a row by defeating Citrus College 12-7, on Saturday afternoon.

OC pounded 16 hits, played good defense, and had a strong performance from the bullpen.

Johnny Alvarez was named Player of the Game, by going 3-4 at the plate, and scoring three runs.  Five Condors had multiple hits, including Thade Miller (2-4), Kaden Tsuji (3-4), Alvarez (3-4), Erick Martinez (3-5, 2B, 3 RBI), Anthony Alvarez (3-5, 2B, 1RBI).  The Condors opened the game with six runs in the first, and kept adding runs as Citrus kept the pressure on.  The Owls scored one in the first, four more on the second, and two more in the fourth.  The Owl's DH, Conner McKinney had a monster day, going 3-5 with two home runs.

Oxnard's bullpen was strong on the day, however, anchored by Damon Villa, who picked up his first win on the year.  Brandon Quirarte pitched two innings of no-hit ball, to pick up his second save on the season.

The Condors look to keep playing team baseball against the LA Mission Eagles on Tuesday.  First pitch is schedules for 2:00 pm, in the Condor's Nest.
