Condor Baseball Bats are Hot

With their 11-9 comeback win over Rio Hondo College on Saturday, Oxnard College Baseball leveled their record at 6-6-1 on the season.

Oxnard leads the Western State Conference North in nearly every offensive category.  In batting average, Ramon Gomez is #3 and Mark Hernandez is #4, with Jose Parga at #5.  Raul Sandoval leads the conference in RBI's, and HR's, and he's fourth in the state in that category. Gomez is second in RBI's with Nico Lima right behind him in third.  Brian Camacho is first in stolen bases, and defensively, Ray Chacon leads the conference in wins.

Of course, OC would like to see this output translate in to more wins, going in to WSC play.  They open up by traveling to Moorpark College on March 5th, to take on the cross-county rival Raiders.

Oxnard will finish up their pre-conference schedule by hosting Orange Coast College on Tuesday, February 26th at 2:00, Glendale on March 1st from 2:00, and Saturday vs. Santa Ana, all in The Nest.
