The Oxnard College Women's Basketball team enters the 2024-25 season with a focus on resilience and improvement, despite a challenging start. After two tough losses in their first few games, against Victor Valley and Imperial Valley, the Condors are using these setbacks as learning opportunities to sharpen their skills ahead of the rest of the season.

With a promising group of players, Oxnard College is determined to bounce back through their pre-conference schedule. The team will face a mix of home and away games, with several key matchups set to test their growth and development. The Condors' first home game of the season comes on November 22 against LA Trade-Tech at 5:00 PM, offering a chance to start their home slate on a high note.

The squad will continue to build momentum in December, with several crucial home games, including matchups against Copper Mountain (December 6), Ohlone (December 7), and San Bernardino Valley (December 10). These games will be key opportunities to gain confidence and fine-tune their systems before entering the more competitive conference schedule in January.

Looking ahead to the new year, the Condors face a tough slate of conference opponents, including matches against Allan Hancock (January 8), Santa Barbara (January 11), and Cuesta (January 18). These games will give the team a chance to prove themselves against some of the WSC.

While the early losses have been difficult, Oxnard College Women's Basketball is a team with a lot of potential, and the squad's determination to improve will be evident as they continue through the pre-conference games and into the heart of their season. With the right mindset and continued growth, the Condors are poised to turn their season around and be a strong contender in the upcoming months.
