The 9th Annual OC Cross Country Invitational saw fierce competition as teams from across the region gathered for a day of exhilarating races. While Mt. SAC dominated the event overall, the OC teams delivered commendable performances, showcasing their endurance and determination against top-tier competitors.

OC Women's Team Results  (5K)

The OC women's team displayed great effort, earning a 5th place finish in the event. Leading the team was Marylyn Mendieta, who crossed the finish line in 20th place with a time of 20:43.74. Hailey Ortiz followed closely, finishing 21st with a time of 20:46.37. Other standout performances included:

-31st place: Marisol Mohedano – 21:52.28 

-38th place: Savan Landaverde – 22:45.44 

-47th place: Maryjane Arreola – 23:49.28 

-51st place: Alex Keaveney – 26:11.16 

 

OC Men's Team Results  (4-Mile)

The OC men's team finished in 9th place overall. Carlo Villagomez led the team, finishing 53rd with a time of 23:15.92.

-61st place: Reyes Gonzales – 23:40.53 

- 85th place: Guadalupe Lopez – 25:21.07 

- 101st place: Oscar Martinez – 29:48.95 

- 104th place: Edwin Salvador – 30:51.83 

The OC athletes fought hard in the hot weather, and both teams demonstrated perseverance in the face of tough competition.
