The 3C2A Champion Men's Soccer team started the fall campaign by winning their first two games of the season.

Oxnard had no problem with Citrus College, downing the Owls 4-0 in the season opener.  OC got goals from Jonathan Alvarez, two by Jorge Arellano, and one by Ian Montelongo.  The defense, anchored by Manny Solis and freshman goalie Jesus Gonzalez stifled Citrus at every turn.

The Condors welcomed Rio Hondo College into the nest last week, and took care of the Roadrunners by a score of 3-2.  After Ian Montelongo scored at the 22:00 minute mark, Rio Hondo equalized just before the half.

Jonathan Alvarez put OC up 2-1 at 61:00 and Jacobo Ortega (https://www.instagram.com/p/CwjK4cJplhJ/?hl=en) scored ten minutes later, to give Oxnard a 3-1 lead.  RHC scored late in the game, but OC's defense stopped the late charge to claim the win.

Oxnard looks to keep their perfect record intact when they host Chaffey College on Friday from 4:00.
