The Women's team finished an impressive third place out of 8 scoring teams just behind Canyons in second and ahead of Moorpark in fourth. Led by sophomores Shelly Martin and Magy Rosales finishing in 11th place (20:45) and 18th place (21:56) respectively for the grassy 5K course. The team core of the scoring members was rounded out with a strong freshman class with Nathalie Ojeda in 20th (22:08), Marylynn Mendieta in 21st (22:22) and Savannah Landaverde in 23:40. Sophomore Carla Rueda finished in 33rd (25:00) with newcomer Maryjane Arreola in 37th (25:43). Sophomore Daisy Rosete finished in 43rd (27:10) and freshman Apple Avalos in 54th (29:57)
The Men's team scored for the first time in two seasons to finish in twelfth place. Led by freshman Reyes Gonzales in 40th place in 24:07 for the 4-mile course. Sophomore Francisco Perez finished in 54th (25:13), freshman Tomas Guerra in 79th (28:53), and returners Jesus Rodriguez in 87th (33:03) and Armando Cabeza in 90th (45:09).
