Sophomore standout guard James Webster eclipsed the 1000-point mark on Saturday night.
The soft-spoken Webster has been nothing but spectacular in his two years suiting up the Condors. As a freshman, Webster banked 537 points (24.4 point per game), grabbed 11.2 rebounds/game, and shot nearly 50% from the field. As a sophomore, he is on a similar pace, averaging 23.3 points, on 50.8% from the field. He's leading the team in rebounds at 10.3 per game.
At 1027 points, Webster passes Jakari McClain (1014), on the OC All-time leading scoring list. The top scorer in Oxnard College history is Jeremiah Massey at 1322 points.
With four games to go (2/8 at Cuesta, 2/11 vs MC, 2/15 at Pierce, and 2/17 vs SBCC), James Webster will continue to cement his legacy as one of the greatest players in Oxnard College basketball history.
