In the Women's race, the Condors place a very strong 9th place team finish automatically earning a firm spot into the State Championships.  Angelica Alcala leading the way in usual fashion finished in 20th place with a time of 20:34 for the 5K course, which was a slight improvement from her performance at the SoCal Preview Meet back in September.  Melody Salazar staying strong as the second scoring member placed 47th with a time of 21:45.  Araceli Rodriguez also running tough finished in 53rd place with a time of 21:54.  Kimberly Acosta stepping up for the day placed 79th with a time of 22:36.  Esther Gomez also coming up big close behind finished in 81st with a time of 22:41 to round out the team score.  Fiona Rodriguez, the lone sophomore, came in as an alternate to the Top 7 for the SoCal squad, ran very well to finish in 95th place with a time of 23:17.  Laura Carmona finished in 129th place with a time of 24:26.

In the Men's race, the Condors finished in 15th place which was 1 spot out of the qualifying teams to the State Meet, but will send 3 individuals instead.  Eric Rios coming through for the day led the squad to an impressive 12th place overall finish with a time of 21:46 for the 4 mile course, which earned him a medal and his spot into the State Championships.  JD Martinez and Ricky Torres finished in 24th (22:04) and 37th (22:19) respectively also earning their individual state qualifiers.  Jonathan Juarez running strong for himself finished in 175th with a time of 27:55.  Sonny Lopez placed 182nd with a time of 29:34, which was a significant improvement from his SoCal Preview performance.  Pedro Martin finished in 186th place with a time of 33:35.
