Condors Closing the Season with a Bang

The Condors had a day at LA Pierce on Thursday.

The Condor bats came alive for 19 hits and 20 runs, to take down the Brahmas 20-11, at Joe Kelly Field.

Thade Miller had four hits, Luis Lurhs had three, but it was Marcus Chavez with four knocks, including and HR to lead the way. 

Miller scored the Condors first run on a single by Anthony Garcia, and OC never looked back.  Oxnard scored in all but the 6th, 8th and 9th innings. 

Chavez's homer came in the fourth inning, to put the game away at 9-1.  

Derek Mendoza picked up his second win of the season, with five innings pitched, 0 earned runs, and two strike outs.

Oxnard will finish out the season on Friday at Moorpark College and will celebrate the sophomores vs Cuesta, in the Nest.
