The Condors hosted the 8th annual OC XC Invitational on the beautiful Oxnard College campus.

With unseasonably hot, muggy weather, all the teams were slightly slower than years past.  The winning time for the ladies was Hannah Brown from Mt. SAC with a time of 19:40, on the usually fast OC course (http://milesplit.live/meets/499109/team-scores/0_F_2).  Oxnard had two top-10 finishers in the field of 51.  Marisol Munoz Maldonado finished with a time of 20:21, good for seventh place, while teammate Olivia Martinez clocked a PR of 20:36, good enough for 9th, overall.  Shelly Martin had a strong showing in 33rd place and right behind her was Magy Rosales in 34th.  Carla Rueda finished 44th for the OC, with Daisy Rosete in 47th.  These quality performances put OC on the podium in third place.  Mt. SAC finished in first, with Glendale College in second place.

The Men's reace (http://milesplit.live/meets/499109) was taken by Mr. Jesse Alvarado with a time of 20:21 followed by his teammate, Elijah Ocegueda, both from Mt. SAC.  Julius Largaespada (Glendale), Juan Hernandez (Santa Monica), Isidore Herrera (Valro Track Club), Nicolas Diconti (Glendale) Andrew Tafolla(Chaffey), Luis Juarez, Jonathan Aguilar (Mt. SAC), and Max Loera (Mt. SAC) rounded out the top ten.  Mt. SAC was the first of eight teams, with 28 points, followed by Glendale College, with 52 points.
