Oxnard Baseball scored five runs in the fourth inning on Friday at Ventura College, and never looked back in Game One.

Daniel Cabral (2-3, 3 runs, 2 RBI), Erick Marinez (3-5, 1 run, 2 RBI), Isaiah Gonzalez (3-5, 1 run, 2 RBI), and Trevor Hammond (2-4, 1 run) all had multiple hits for the Condors to power OC to a 12-2 victory in the 12 o'clock game.  Jose Parga, Isaiah Alvaraz, and Nick Wolfrey added to the 14-hit Condor attack.

Lucien Wechsberg (3-2) picked up the win, with a complete-game (7 inning) eight K performance.  Wechsberg lowered his WSC ERA to 2.45 on the year and has established himself in the Condor rotation in conference play.

OC opened Game Two, by taking a 2-0 lead on the Pirates.  Nick Wolfrey knocked in two of his four RBI's on the day with a double, in the second inning.

The Condors couldn't hold the lead, however, as they gave up two runs in the fourth and four in the fifth, and two more in the sixth.  They rallied in the seventh inning, with Daniel Cabrara doubling in Parga.  Michael Jester then switched places with Cabrara, with a double of his own, to make the score 8-4 after seven.  OC tacked on one more run on the ninth inning, but lost 8-5.

Oxnard will finish their season with a series against Bakersfield College on Thursday from 12:00 in the Nest, and then travel to BCC on Saturday.  OC sits at 10-14 overall, and 6-10 in the WSC.
