The OC Women's XC team traveled to L.A Pierce this past Friday to compete in the Western State Conference Preview. The team placed 4th overall and was led by sophomore Marisol Munoz, who finished in the top ten in the field of 50. A remarkable performance by freshman Shelly Martin, contributed to the teams placing and allowed her to clock in a new PR of 22:46.

With a string of top-five performances to start the year, the Cross Country team looks to run faster at the finish.

"The team has performed well so far. We are working hard to continue improving and we hope to qualify for the State Championship again this year. At the State Championship our goal will be to finish in the top ten" commented Head Coach Aaron Sharp.

The Condors have a bye week this week and will prepare to deliver another quality performance at the Mt. SAC Invite on Friday, October 14th at 10:00am.
