After a slow start, OC Women's Soccer went on the road to defeat Glendale College (4-0) and West LA (1-0).

Many of the players are returners from the 2021 campaign including Ashley Gonzalez, Jennifer Cruz, Samantha Velasquez, Jasmine Arellano, Leslie Cruz, Jackie Mottu, Giselle Nunez, Nathallie Ojeda, and Eileen Quezada. They are getting healthier and adding players each week; ramping up for the gruelling Western State Conference campaign that lies ahead.

Sophomore defender, Ashley Gonzalez and freshman Daisy Ramos lead OC in scoring with two goals each.  Jennifer Cruz has one goal on the season, with defenders, Eileen Quezada, Daisy Ramos, and freshman standout, Carmen Gonzalez playing will defending the Condor goal.

"We've gotten off on the right foot.  Or returners have shown great leadership and the team has great chemistry.  We're in high-spirits to compete well the rest of the season," commented Head Coach, Gabi Gonzales.

The Condors will be flying back to the field on September 13th #intheNest, when they host Victor Valley at 4:00.
