Oxnard College women's soccer has opened the season with a stellar 3-1 record.  After dropping their first game against Citrus College, OC has notched wins against West LA (3-1), Victor Valley (3-1), and Cerro Coso (3-0).

Oxnard took the lead in the 14th minute on a goal by Jakeline Novela-Martinez on an assist by Angela Baltazar.  Soon after, Novela scored her second goal from Ashley Gonzalez.  The Condors finished their scoring with a strike from Giselle Gutierrez and an assist from Jasmine Arellano.

Novela now has four goals on the season, while teammate Angela Baltazar has three to go along with four assists.  Both freshman come from Hueneme HS, and with a number of talented first-year local athletes, Oxnard is looking to make a push for the playoffs in the near future.  

The Condors will face a huge test against Antelope Valley College (6-2) on Friday from 2:00 p.m.
