The Condor softball team defeated LA Pierce 9-1 yesterday afternoon in five innings.

Giselle Roldan (3-3, 1 run, 4 RBI, HR) again set the table for OC by given them a lead in the first inning with her seventh home run.  Oxnard never looked back with Charlie Holman having a day with a double, triple, three runs, and two RBI's.  Katlyn Acosta was 2-2, with a run scored, and Gabby Gonzalez was 2-3 with one run and one RBI.

Micaela Barrera-Herron stepped into the number pitching role, and earned her first collegiate victory, going four strong innings.  Holman "pitched in" as well, going the fifth inning, allowing no runs.

Oxnard will play a non-conference double-header on Friday at East LA starting at 12:00.

The Condors return to conference play next week, when they host Santa Barbara on Tuesday at 2:30.
