Nathan Hernandez had his best outing as a collegiate pitcher on Tuesday afternoon, going eight innings, while only allowing 1 hit, with nine K's. Hernandez held the Seahawks hitless until the fifth, when Ethan Kang had a single.
Tommy English was 3 for 3, with two runs scored and one RBI. Luis Luhrs was 2 for 4, with two RBI. Brendan McBride came in to relieve Hernandez in the 9th, to sew up the 6-0 win.
Oxnard looks to continue their winning ways on Thursday when they travel to Citrus College for a 2:00 game.
