Condor Cross Country Continues to Run Well

In the Women's race, the Lady Condors took 3rd place among 5 scoring teams.  Angelica Alcala leading the way as usual finished in 3rd place with a time of 19:35 for the 3 mile course.  Melody Salazar continuing to improved placed 7th with a time of 20:21.  Araceli Rodriguez jumping back into action finished in 16th place with a time of 21:11.  Esther Gomez placed 27th with a time of 22:16.  Laura Carmona rounding out the team score placed 33rd with a time of 23:05.  Close behind was Jasmine Rangel in 36th place with a time of 23:18.  Laura Arenas finished in 41st place with a time of 24:16.  Mayra Munguia placed 44th with a time of 25:12.

In the Men's race, Oxnard took 5th out of 11 scoring teams.  JD Martinez and Eric Rios worked and pushed each other for the entire race to finish in 2nd & 3rd place in 21:29 and 21:32 respectively for the 4 mile course.  Ricky Torres finished in 9th place with a time of 21:44.  Jonathan Juarez placed 88th with a time of 28:54.  Sonny Lopez rounded out the team score with a time of 30:54 in 95th place.  Pedro Martin finished in 101st with a time of 35:25.
