Condors Tie Citrus

The OC Condors Baseball team have tied the Citrus Owls three out of the last four years. 

The Condors grabbed the lead in the top of ninth, 9-7, but Citrus scored two of the their own to tie it at 9-9.  The sun went down, and the game was called a tie, going into the top of the tenth inning.

Austin Maciel (1-4) tripled to right center in the 9th inning, driving in  2 RBIs, with Daniel Cabral (2-5) and Jose Parga (2-5) and scoring. Ramon Gomez (2-5) singled to right center with Maciel scoring to give OC a two-run advantage.

Mark Hernandez had two hits on the evening, including a big homer in the sixth inning.  Brian Camacho was 3-4, with 1 RBI, and Antonio Gonzalez had a hit, scored two runs, with an RBI.

Jason Gomez went six strong innings, striking out 13 Owls, and only allowing three runs.

OC heads out to LA Valley for the second of three games in row.  First pitch will be at 2:00, at Monarch Field. Baseball will be hosting West LA on February 8th at 2:00, in the Nest.
